Valserrano Gran Reserva 1.996
The 1996 harvest was qualified as very good, but in light of the evolution of the wines during the Crianza and Reserva aging processes, it could very well have been qualified as excellent. Good climatic conditions with an Atlantic influence resulted in ‘colder’ wines, with a higher fixed acidity level than normal. These wines age wonderfully, gaining complexity the longer they remain in cask and bottle, without suffering from premature oxidation. |
