The 2003 Harvest was characterized by excessively hot weather in September, which caused a steep rise in the percentage of alcohol. So as not to lose fruitiness we quickly harvested a selection of grapes, and the ones from the oldest and least productive vineyards were used to make the Valserrano Grand Reserve.
